| A Colorful Hobby Come to Light |
Pensacola
Lights began a few years ago when my wife and I decided to
invite our entire family to Thanksgiving Day dinner at our
house. We had over 30 guests that year, so we decided to "go
all out" and put up 5,000 Christmas lights to get everyone
in the holiday spirit. Our family really enjoyed the display,
so I immediately started to plan how to make it even more exciting
for the following Thanksgiving Day gathering.
Since then, Pensacola Lights has taken on a life of its own
as it continues to grow and evolve into a display featuring
over 60,000 lights. It has turned into a year-round hobby
incorporating all of my varied interests in art, music,
electronics, computers, engineering, design, carpentry,
and electrical wiring. And of course, I still look forward
to the latest production at our annual family Thanksgiving
Day gathering.
Pensacola Lights is now our holiday gift to our community.
We believe in doing things together as a family and establishing
holiday traditions that will be remembered by our children.
We hope that you will make a visit to Pensacola Lights a holiday
tradition for your family as well.

From Crestview, FL
Travel on I-10 westbound for 45 miles.
Take I-10 exit number 10B towards Cantonment and merge
onto Pensacola Blvd/US-29. Travel northbound for approximately
1 mile to the 2nd traffic light (Carpenters RV will be
on your right). Turn LEFT onto Detroit Blvd and continue
westbound for approximately 1 mile to Cove Avenue. Turn
RIGHT onto Cove Avenue and PensacolaLights will be .5 miles
on your left.
From Mobile, AL
Travel on I-10 eastbound for 46 miles.
Take I-10 exit number 5 and turn LEFT onto Nine Mile Rd/US-90
Alt. Travel eastbound for 2.9 miles to Cove Avenue (just past
Plainview Baptist Church). Turn RIGHT onto Cove Avenue and
PensacolaLights will be .5 miles on your right.
From Fort Walton Beach,
FL
Travel on US-98/Miracle Strip Parkway
westbound for 38 miles. After crossing Three Mile Bridge,
US-98 become East Gregory Street. Stay on East Gregory
Street for .5 miles and at the Pensacola Civic Center merge
onto I-110 by following the ramp on the right. Stay on
I-110 for 5.6 miles and merge onto I-10 westbound towards
Mobile, AL. Travel 1.9 miles and take I-10 exit number
10B towards Cantonment and merge onto Pensacola Blvd/US-29.
Travel northbound for approximately 1 mile to the 2nd traffic
light (Carpenters RV will be on your right). Turn LEFT
onto Detroit Blvd and continue westbound for approximately
1 mile to Cove Avenue. Turn RIGHT onto Cove Avenue and
PensacolaLights will be .5 miles on your left.
From Milton, FL
Travel on US-90 westbound for 18 miles
(continue on US-90 Alt/Nine Mile Road). At .7 miles past
the intersection of Nine Mile Road and US-29 (and just
past the entrance to the Hadji Temple) turn LEFT onto Cove
Avenue. PensacolaLights will be .5 miles on your right.

Our
spectacular light display begins on Thanksgiving
Day and continues until New Years
Day.
You and your family can enjoy the display
during the following hours::
Sunday - Thursday
5:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Friday - Saturday
5:30 pm to 11:00 pm
The complete sequence of synchronized music
lasts for approximately 30 minutes and loops continuously.
Throughout the display period, you
can you can enjoy Christmas music 24/7 by tuning to FM
