Have you seen this? Pretty nifty. I can't imagine Google's really happy about the look/feel of the web site, but if you can get past that, it's interesting:

How to use Speegle:

  • Just type in your keywords in the normal way and press enter or click search.
  • Ten results are listed and read out to you in order some may be skipped as they have no content or they have been to slow to contact.
  • If you want to visit a page press the corresponding number on the keyboard and it will redirect to that site.
  • Press S to stop P to play and N for next ten results B to go back to the previous 10 results.
  • Press A to go to the advertised site.

Hi Greg,

Just checking out your site. It fascinates me. You have so much interesting info. I haven't been on it for awhile. I also found a link to Scott's site, and checked it out too. Wow.

Thanks for your advice a few months ago in choosing a phone. I eventually settled on a Sprint PCS plan because my wife and I can talk on our phones for free without using minutes. The best phone at the time from Sprint was the Nokia 6225. I bought it. It has all the typical stuff like camera, web, radio, etc. I also decided that I did not want a Blackberry because I don't want instant messaging. I have enough instant messaging through other means, and there comes a point in your life after 18 years of high-tech computing, that you need to let things go to voice mail/inbox, etc., and I'll get it later. When there is a real emergency, my friends and co-workers know how to get me fast, but other than an emergency, most things no longer require an interruption to every moment of my day.

Looking at your site and Scott's site, reminds me that you folks at Corillian have something really good going on. There are companies out there who are years and years behind the technology curve. Compared to Corillian, they are in a bubble in the stone ages, and are having difficulty imagining anything different.

I miss my friends at Corillian. I hope you are well. I have only good memories of working with you and so many other fine folks at Corillian. I was also lucky to work with the founders, and I'm proud that I made contributions to a few of the biggest deals. I'm also very happy that Corillian has been so successful over the past year, and I know that you make a lot of daily contributions. Keep up the good work.

Hi Jeff - Nice to hear from you! Thanks for the kind words - it's a great job, and a fun bunch of people to work with for sure. I am always learning something from someone!

Blackberries are a ball and chain - you made the right decision. :)
