I prefer the term "User Error". Idiot is a little too harsh, even in leet speak so I prefer this phrase. User Error also tells you where the problem lies: the user. It's not a software error, a 404 web error, the problem is with the person at the controls.

Yeah but "User Error" isn’t vary discreet to the average computer user, take for example your tech support for a large business. You get a call to come look at someone’s pc, and a tech support buddy shows up to help and you already know what’s wrong. Your buddy asks what’s wrong, you can say, Oh don't worry I know how to fix this one. (This would be best if you wish to keep your job BTW) But if your an ass like me you could say "User error" and the user would get up and smack you or make some excuse as to why the "Coffee cup Holder" AKA CD-Rom was made of cheap plastic and almost seems like it was never meant to hold a coffee mug. Or say "I-D-10-T error" no big deal ill fix it and the user wouldn't be the wiser. Well this was true a long time ago anyway, now days though people are catching on more and more. =)

Nah im not really that mean, I just favor id10t more.
