Adam Cogan IM'ed me this morning with some cool news: Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 was released to MSDN's Subscriber Downloads web site over the past couple of days:

Just as we're about to start a new round of software evals - perfect timing! It will be interesting to see what people in the community think about the new releases.

Sadly, I do not see this when I log in, and its not on the New Content Notification RSS Feed.

Your cruel jokes are not amusing :)

Interesting - do you have a Universal subscription? I also noticed it was not in the RSS feed... Hmmm...

Ahh, apparently the account I was using is not a Universal account, but just for MS Partners. Weird since it has had every other CTP and Beta of VS.NET published.

Logged in with another account that I knew was Universal and its there!

Now just to DL ~3GB

Actually, I was wrong...it is showing up sporadically...sometimes it shows, sometimes it only shows after manually reloading the frame the treeview is in.

And a few times, even when the entries on the treeview are present I get a "Content not available" error message.

Guess its getting hammered.

Yeah, I saw the same thing. I found that if I waited a few (five or so) seconds between page loads that I was able to view the pages. Crazy traffic or screwed up web server, not sure. :)
