I've uploaded a few photos from our quick jaunt through Arches National Park, near Moab Utah, at the end of December. My friend Cory and I were driving back to Oregon after a couple days of skiing at Keystone, Colorado and decided to detour briefly to check out the place. It was about four in the afternoon and the light was right. Glad we stopped. The complete flickr photoset is here, and here is a link to my flickr photostream.

Thanks to both of you, glad you liked them. Truth be told, a decent lens and Arches is all you need to get great shots, as long as you are there the right time of day. The pictures almost take themselves.

Ah and by the way - people may not realize it, as I didn't point it out in the blog post text, but both of the pictures posted here (and many of the ones in the flickr photoset) were taken with a 10.5mm fisheye lens, which is super-wide-angle (180 degrees field of view diagonally corner-to-corner). The camera was a Nikon D200.

I'm jealous! I am keeping my eyes on the new Canon Digital Rebel XSi. It looks very, very promising.

Greg, you don't give yourself enough credit...it takes more than a good camera and lens to take beautiful pictures like the two you posted. You've got a great eye for photographs! :)

Good afternoon. Challenge is a dragon with a gift in its mouth?Tame the dragon and the gift is yours. Help me! Need information about: Triple credit score. I found only this - free credit score instantly. And you need to be able to pay back in a timely manner for your credit score to improve. By creating a brand and more positive way, you end up with rather than bad credit and, in turn, your credit score will increase. Waiting for a reply , Kelvin from Ukraine.
