Yesterday a friend of mine got the same initial reaction out of me that you'll probably have when you read this. But seriously, give it a chance. Weird food combinations can be, umm, interesting.

Take a jar of Claussen Kosher Dill Sandwich Slices, and a carton of Tropicana Pure Premium Grovestand orange juice (that's the lots-o-pulp version). Pour yourself a glass of OJ.

Eat one sandwich-slice of pickle right out of the jar. Use your fingers it's better that way.

Drink some orange juice.

Eat, drink, repeat.

And don't knock it 'til you've tried it. I was surprised.

On the same note those same pickles with a slice of cheese and chicken nuggets (but make a stack and eat as one bite). :) mmmmm good stuff.

On the same note, try peanut butter on apple slices (like the granny smith apples).

I'm a big fan of Cream cheese on a hotdog with fried onions, which seems to be unique to Seattle. Everyone back home almost vomits when I describe it to them. However, like your pickle+OJ, it's one of those don't knock it until you've tried it combinations.

A friend of mine also recommend peanut butter on a hot dog... I haven't been brave enough to try that yet :)
